After this workshop, you will be confident creating similar videos for your clients:

Meet Lucia Marecak

Lucia is a commercial food photographer, videographer, and educator, and the founder of FOODlight. Through her workshops, courses, and membership, she has helped hundreds of photographers grow their skills and work more confidently with clients. Her experience comes from years of real commercial projects, combining photography, video, and creative direction for food brands.

In this workshop, Lucia shares her practical approach to food videography. You will learn how composition, color, movement, light, and camera angles work together to tell a clear story in video. Everything is based on real client work, so you understand not only how to create beautiful videos, but also how to think and work like a professional videographer.

Meet Seema Rose

Hi, I am Seema Rose, a food and travel photographer based in Dubai. Alongside my love for photography, I am deeply passionate about hosting creative retreats for photographers. I’ve had the joy of hosting retreats around the world, and witnessing how transformative these experiences are. both for my guests and for myself. It has been incredibly fulfilling.

Hosting retreats has grown into a natural extension of my creative journey. I’m no longer just capturing beauty, but I’m also creating spaces for others to uncover their own. Through these experiences, I’ve been able to unite everything I cherish: photography, food, hospitality, connection, storytelling, travel and being fully present with intention.

These retreats have brought together so many wonderful people in our food photography community, leading to meaningful friendships and inspiring collaborations. Lucia and I first connected at my retreat in Florence two years ago and since then we’ve kept in touch while planning projects together. One of those conversations has now led to this videography workshop in Dubai. Lucia joined me again recently as a returning guest at my retreat in Puglia, and it was there that we decided to bring this workshop to life.

Dubai is my home, and I will be hosting the workshop here with the same warmth and hospitality I offer on my retreats. Lucia will be sharing her videography expertise with all participants, making this a truly special experience.

We are incredibly excited to welcome you to Dubai!
